The software provides
physicians with well-structured and systemic
software for clinical routine in the specialties
of preventive medicine, AntiAging medicine and
salutogenesis at the highest medical standard. For
the classical medical disciplines too, such as
general medicine, internal medicine, sports
medicine, neurology, gynecology, urology,
orthopedics, dermatology and plastic surgery, the
BioAging® system is a significant enhancement to
diagnostics. Parallel to the systemic measurement
of the functional organ vitality and biological
aging, the attending physician is now in a
position to actually target prevention and screen
for risks.
Specific
and targeted identification of risks
Specific screening means that for the
respective symptoms, it is easier for the
physician to select a pre-setting that has been
developed in line with evidence-based guidelines.
As a result, the doctor can examine the patient
with a high degree of efficiency, at savings to
costs and in the interests of prevention; the
examination is hence specific to the organs
examined and the vitality and laboratory parameter
selected by the physician against the background
of the latest scientific insights.
- Cardiovascular disease (heart attack,
stroke, arteriosclerosis)
- Diabetes Type 2
- Osteoporosis
- Dementia
- Depression
- Malignant growth (mamma, prostate, colon)
Anamnesis
(Health history questionnaire)
Analysis of
lifestyle and patient anamnesis – the digital
questionnaire
The patient’s anamnesis is comprised of an
interactive questionnaire, which can be completed
directly at the PC by the patient without the
assistance of medical professionals. The anamnesis
questionnaire puts questions of relevance to the
patient’s health, all of which can be answered by
an appropriate click on the respective text
contents. The following aspects are covered:
- Family anamnesis (familial risks and life
expectancy)
- Personal anamnesis in respect of risks such
as heart attack, stroke, osteoporosis, diabetes,
malignant growth
- Questions on lifestyle
- Questions on sports and diet
- Questions on ailments (based on Heinemann
method for men, Menopause rating scale for
women)
- Analysis of sports practiced, detailing the
discipline, time input and energy consumption
(in Kcal).
The answers to the
various questions provide the substance of the
BioAging® health report (Word document) in which
text modules generate a summary assessment. The
sentences are simply worded so as to be easily
un-derstood. An overview in graph form with green
and red bars reflects the biological age of the
patient, such as derived from the patient’s
responses (i.e. anamnesis and
lifestyle).

Diagnostic
The
computer guided diagnostic module covers all
systemic health parameters that reflect the
age-related loss of vitality and hence the
biological status of aging. The following
biomarkers are determined in the
system: |
- State of
health / reason for consultation (a
questionnaire on current ailments, for men and
women separately)
- Body
composition
Body Mass
Index Waist to hip ratio (women) Waist
circumference (men and women) Bioimpediance
analysis (body fat percentage, lean body mass
and body cell mass)
- Cerebral

BioAging®
Laboratory diagnostics
Once the
test results are available, input of the
laboratory data is carried out manually. Most
substances are checked for compliance with fixed
upper and lower limit values (that can be altered
by the physician). Analytes that change in course
depending on age are compared to age-related
values and analogously allocated a biological
age.

BioAging®
Health report
The health report
features all the data covered by the BioAging®
system in numerical and graph form, in conjunction
with a systemic overview of the health status of
the respective subject. No recommendations for
therapy are given, however, this depending on the
individual mode of procedure and specific
expertise of the attending physician. Only those
tests are shown in the reports that were actually
carried out. If you are only using a test as
control mechanism, for example, the report will be
correspondingly brief. The BioAging® health
report takes the form of a Word document (20 - 25
pages). This means you may individualize and
enhance the report by including your own remarks,
other anamnestic data derived from a personal
consultation or other results from additional
examinations. The report can be discussed with the
patient and then handed over to him/her, since it
is easy to read and well structured. The graphs
make it easier to appreciate the copious numerical
values.
Health
report - Anamnesis (Health history)
This part of the report
consists of a simple text, which can also be
understood by medical non-professionals. It is
compiled from the responses to multiple-choice
questions from the health anamnesis questionnaire.
For each chapter there is a paragraph specifying
the respective biological age. The overview at the
end makes it easy for you to identify any
divergence. |
 |
 |
Health
Report - Diagnostics
The chapter
Diagnostics in the BioAging® report initially
gives a brief and general description of
measurements and chapter contents. The results are
presented numerically (actual value and
age-related targeted value) and in graph form with
any divergence given as percentage. The color
green denotes the performance is better than the
gender-specific average age, whereas a red bar
signalizes a correspondingly poor result, which is
an indication for intervention or prevention. A
result in the yellow area points to the need for
check-up and is not yet to be classified as a
general deficiency. Previous strain, personal
exhaustion, stress, a daily structure involving
varying degrees of concentration and performance
capacity can be the cause of such results that
need checking and should be the indication for
repeating the respective test after some 4 to 6
weeks, including careful preparation. |
 |
 |
Health
Report - Laboratory data
The input
of laboratory data can be protected by an access
password. In this case, you need to put in the
ceiling values and the units used for the
laboratory parameters. The input of the laboratory
values is carried out manually. Should there be
other parameters for determination, parallel to
the wide pre-selection range, there is another
section for ´laboratory parameters selected
individually by the physician`. |
 |
 |
BioAging®
Longitudinal comparison
For the
longitudinal view of the results, all data and
sessions can be compared and printed in graph
form. It is thus easy to monitor the course of a
physical function since the first measurement was
taken or since the beginning of
therapy.
Scientific evidence and
studies
All reference
data in the BioAging® system has been evaluated
during the course of complex clinical studies. For
each biomarker of the system, there is a
representative regression curve with
gender-specific and age-related reference values
for comparison with the respective measurement
taken.
